Air Spring® pocket spring suspension: This pocket spring suspension adapts to each sleeper’s habits and follows their movements throughout the night to modulate the sleep surface. The Platinum Initial mattress offers exceptional independent support for restorative sleep.
Integral quilting: Made in our workshops, our mattresses are entirely hand-quilted. This practice combines the look of the surface while enhancing the fluffiness of the long-lasting padding and to hold it together.
Fairing and strip encasing: maintains the edges of the mattress and prevents deformation guaranteed due to the reinforced sitting area.
The Platinum Initial mattress is available in three comfort levels since it’s assembled with different types of filling.
For firm support and comfort, the composition of the winter side is a combination of 400 g/m² Camel Wool and 4 cm Latex. The Camel Wool used in our mattress is of superior quality as it comes from the softest surface of the animal: its neck. Along with plush comfort, it provides natural warmth. The Latex contributes to the morphological comfort and adapts to the body’s curves all while relieving the pressure points.
As for the summer side, the natural fibre used is 400 g/m² Bamboo Viscose. Healthy and absorbent, it’s also environmentally-friendly.
The Platinum Initial mattress is also available with extra firm support and comfort. The 400 g/m² Cashmere, Horsehair and Wool are given pride of place on the winter side. Cashmere is a material that provides absolute gentleness all while offering natural warmth. The durability and solidness of the Horsehair extends the life of the mattress. On the summer side, Linen and Horsehair are also present yet in combination with 400 g/m² Linen. Natural and plant-based, Linen is a fibre with unique characteristics. It’s optimal for the summer because of its power of absorbance for unbeatable freshness.
The final combination for Medium-firm support and Supple comfort includes 1.2 k/m² Silk with 500 g/m² Wool on the winter side. The gentleness and lightness of the Silk is ideal for skin breathability when it’s hot. The insulation offered by the Wool contributes to the comfort and restorative sleep by limiting the number of mid-sleep awakenings due to temperature differences. The side is made of 400g/m² of Cottom and 600g/m² of Silk. Soft and healthy, cotton facilitates mattress ventilation.
